SHORT DAYS, SHORTER STORIES 2: A Second Anthology of Flash Fiction Short Stories

About

“Short Days, Shorter Stories” is an ongoing anthology of “flash fiction” stories collected from my ongoing project, arranged in chronological order, and collated into a volume for publication.

This is Volume 2.

Each story begins with a dream I had while asleep, taken from my daily dream journal.
Some of these stories closely follow the inspiring dream’s narrative, and others less so—still, every one begins with a dream—a vision of the night.

Flash fiction doesn’t have a strict definition, but in general, it refers to stories ranging from around 300 to 1,500 words. For my purposes, I aim for the midpoint of this range, around 600 words.

The brevity of flash fiction poses a challenge for me as an author, as I strive to craft impactful short stories while also offering, I hope, readers a quick and rewarding experience.
